We have been fighting in court since 2007 in order to give farmers the most sustainable outcome for future generations. We believe that the livelihood of farmers should concern all Canadians. A voluntary Canadian Wheat Board does NOT give farmers what they need because large multi-national grain companies are not in the business of giving farmers the best prices, they are in the business of making money for thier shareholders. Unless there are regulatory and structural pressurres to wade off hostile pressure upon farmers, we are going to continue to see unsustainable farm practices with less farmers running them.
This is unacceptable.
